Each year the trucking companies, Antonini Freight Express, Inc. and Antonini Fruit Express haul in excess of 125,000 truckloads of products such as bulk wine, cased goods, olive oil, tomato paste, olives, alcohol, lithium for batteries, canned goods, empty metal cans, plastic cans, cannery tomatoes, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, vegetable transplants and building materials to name a few. These companies operate out of five terminals from Yuba City, Ca to the north through the San Joaquin Valley as far south as Huron, Ca.

Stockton or Modesto, CAFleet Maintenance Manager

This position is responsible for providing or outsourcing all maintenance activities necessary for Antonini Enterprises LLC. Communicate and support the strategic direction of the organization and department. The Fleet Maintenance Manager must demonstrate integrity, heritage, fairness, quality and community service in the performance of one’s functions and responsibilities. Requires direct contact with a diverse group of internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:

• Organize, communicate and delegate responsibilities and priorities to ensure a successful operation.

• Monitor, analyze and adjust the department focus for continuous improvement of operations, functions, systems, resources and internal and external customer service.

• Responsible for establishing service intervals for all company equipment.

• Purchasing agent for all parts for maintenance of vehicles.

• Responsible for establishing outside vendors for parts and services that enhances Antonini Enterprises overall efficiency.

• Provide regular and timely feedback that recognizes performance, motivates employees and promotes self-development.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions. Responsible for cleanliness of shop and yard areas.

• Work with Operations department to ensure equipment is available as needed.

• Work with Safety department to ensure company safety policies are carried out and crisis plans are followed.

• Work with Human Resources department to ensure timely and accurate employee information is provided.

• Work with the Accounting department to ensure timely recording, payment of vendor invoices.

• Responsible for taking physical inventories of stocked items in warehouses at company specified intervals.

• Communicate with and coach employees on assignments, providing technical expertise as needed.

• Cover maintenance personnel job functions as necessary.

• Conduct and manage employee performance reviews.

• Work, in conjunction with the President, to spec out new equipment purchases as necessary.

• Demonstrate sensitivity, understanding and respect for the diverse socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of current and prospective employees, clients and vendors.

• Actively participate in budget preparation and manage department to budget.

• Work with Administrative department to ensure timely entry of RO’s in to database.

 

Position Specifications:

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ maintenance experience in transportation industry and/or AG experience including five (5) years at a management level position. Working knowledge of tractor, trailer, automobile, forklift and miscellaneous fleet maintenance. Experience with proficient welding techniques for heavy duty tractors and trailers, including aluminum materials.

Bilingual English/Spanish, grammar, spelling, punctuation and math skills.

Valid California Class A Driver License with an acceptable record.

• Experience with maintenance software. Truckmate-TMW and Squarerigger preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Mechanic certifications preferred.

• Ability to recognize and manage confidential and sensitive materials in a secure manner.

• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and the general public.

• Multi-task project oriented.

Work Environment:

• This position requires the person to be available to work six days a week.

• Shop environment with exposure to outside adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt.

• Safe environment, a place where issues can be discussed without fear of reprisal, where employees can openly and professionally air their concerns, feelings, etc…

• Frequent travel to terminals in Huron, Modesto, Stockton Yuba City.

 

Compensation package:
$140,000-$165,000 annual salary

Assigned a company pickup truck + fuel card for travel between terminals.

Stockton CABilling Specialist

Position Purpose: Seeking an experienced biller to join the billing department for the Antonini Companies.

Essential Functions, including but not limited to:

· Generate accurate and timely invoices, process driver/interliner load rates and complete all other assigned tasks within the billing department

· Gain a thorough understanding of internal billing policies/procedures, including company driver/interliner pay and application of customer payments

· Gain a thorough understanding of TMS applications used for billing, driver/interline pay and cash receipts

· Maintain client records related to invoicing and bill payments

· Facilitate communications and workflow processes within the billing department and between billing, operations and accounting

· Participate in continuously improving department practices and procedures

· Communicate effectively and actively seek and provide feedback

Experience:

· Two years minimum billing experience within the transportation industry required

· Experience with drayage billing preferred

· Experience using TruckMate software preferred

This position requires direct contact with a diverse group of internal and external customers at all levels of the organization. This position must demonstrate integrity, heritage, fairness, quality, and community service in the performance of one’s functions and responsibilities to ensure that the department goals are achieved.

Typical 50-60 hour work weeks.

Essential Functions:

· Quality maintenance, diagnosis and repairs on all equipment.

· Maintenance and repair of company tractors and trailers.

· Perform maintenance, repair and other duties within company standards for productivity.

· Understand and implement maintenance schedules.

· Assist other shop mechanics/ personnel/ drivers as needed.

· Display the ability to learn and apply new knowledge through attendance of technical classes to advance technical capabilities.

· Ensure cleanliness of shop and yard areas.

· Communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor.

· Maintain and utilize work areas, tools and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment.

· Work varying shifts and overtime as business needs arise.

· Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

 

Performance Standards:

· Achieves first-class service and profitability through quality maintenance, diagnosis, repair and percentage of reworks.

· ASE Certificate of technical training in basic diesel, gasoline engine tractor and trailer equipment desired.

· Possess Valid CA driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Experience:

· Minimum of three (3) years maintenance and truck repair experience.

· Must meet minimum personal tooling requirements.

Work Environment:

· Shop and outside environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt.

· Using company service vehicle travel when necessary to make repairs.

Physical / Mental Abilities:

· Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities.

· Self-motivated and detail oriented; work with minimum supervision.

· Stand/ walk 5 – 6 hours per day. Sit 1 – 4 hours per day.

· Frequently lift 100 pounds.

· Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.

· Must be able to frequently bend, twist, squat and climb; including ability to ascend and descend ladders.

· Must use feet for repetitive movement when operating equipment control

· Must be able to move head and neck at odd angles, including hanging head to see under truck engines and other equipment repeatedly for long periods frequent and infrequent periods

· Able to lie on back and side with arms extended for long and short periods

· Must be able to crawl under vehicles and other equipment and to perform duties in cramped, spaces with limited room for movement
